Linkin Park lead singer, Chester, commits suicide


Chester Bennington, the lead singer of global
best-selling rock band, Linkin Park has committed
suicide by hanging.

According to DAILY MAIL, the 41-year-old died at
his Palos Verdes home near Los Angeles on
Thursday morning.
Security operatives who found his body before
9am said the singer had a history of drug and
alcohol abuse.
Bennington, who had six children from his two
marriages, killed himself on the birthday of his
close friend Chris Cornell.
Cornell also committed suicide by hanging in May
2017 and Bennington spoke at his funeral.
Linkin Park were one of the best-selling
alternative rock bands of all time, scoring a string
of hits. They famously collaborated with JAY-Z in
2004 for the genre-melding EP Collision Course.
