Blackface Calls On FG To Arrest Tuface Over Song Theft

Blackface has no hands down over his fight with 2face over song theft has he still insists that 2Baba must be the one to apologize. Obviously, not satisfied with accusing the African Queen singer , Black face once again made his grouse known in a recent interview with HipTV.
The Singer who has continually faulted 2face for not acknowledging nor rewarding him for his role in writing African Queen, has said that he is not willing to let go of the accusations.
Speaking on Faze’s move to broker peace between himself and 2face, he said:
“Faze is my friend and he is going to do his own bit. But, one thing that he does not know is that who feels it, knows it. He didn’t write the song, I did. So he does not know what I am talking about. It is easy for him to call for peace. But then, it is the duty of the offender to apologise for his action. I can’t keep quiet about what happened because I haven’t offended anybody. I have not stolen anybody’s song.”
He also stated that the Federal Government is yet to institute an appropriate punishment for individuals who are involved in song theft.
“Had the Federal Government introduced an appropriate punishment for stealing other people’s songs, many music artistes would be in trouble today. If the penalty required offenders to spend some years in jail, many so-called big artistes would be in prison by now.
“Some of them steal songs from fellow musicians based in the country or abroad and pass them off as their own. This is very bad for culture and the creative sector. It is also bad enough for the honest and hardworking Nigerian artiste who goes through a lot of trouble to survive.“Whatever the government decides, the courts are there to ensure that justice prevails. If you find yourself on the wrong side of the law, you will have to accept the consequence of your actions.”

Dont Think I Want To Make Money From IPDs-2face Speaks Out

Nigerian music superstar, 2face Idibia has reacted
to comments that he was seeking to divert funds
to be realized at the special fund raising concert
tagged ‘Eargasm’.
The afro-pop legend declared that individuals
thinking in that direction were insane.
He explained that proceeds were specifically
meant for the Internally Displaced Persons, IPDs,
to donate to their plight and alleviate their
suffering.
“My attention is focused more on the individuals
and organizations concerned with providing
support for IDPs; people who murmur about
hidden agenda don’t matter.
“If they are pessimists and haters then they need
to be saved from themselves”, he told Vanguard.
”The 2face foundation’s first activity in January
2017 was Project 1.4-1.4, with which we sought
to raise N14million in 14 days to assist IDP
intervention work being undertaken by winners of
the 2face peace awards.
”We launched million voices for peace project in
2012 and have a rich history of peace building
initiatives.
”It’s primarily in the interest of peace that I called
for the February 6th peaceful protest.
“And for anyone who thinks my image needs
redemption for my commitment to peace building,
I have absolutely no comment”, 2fcae added

Read What 2face says About Boko-Haram

Benue State native, Innocent Idibia has opened
up on the Boko Haram menace on his visit to
the north -eastern part of Nigeria to identity
with victims of the terrorist group.
A renowned Nigerian Musician, Innocent Idibia ,
better known as 2 Face or 2Baba has said that
the lingering boko Haram crisis which left
thousands of people dead , millions injured and
displaced from their homes with property
worth billions of naira destroyed have nothing
to do with religion as insinuated , rather the
crisis is strongly associated with politics .
He said , unless government and politicians
step up their games by doing the needful in
eradicating poverty among the masses,
particularly youths, and do justice to all
manner of people , ending insurgency and
other forms of violence currently happening in
some parts of the north east and the country
as a whole may be difficult and unrealistic .
The Musician stated this on Wednesday in
Maiduguri , Borno State during his 3- Day
Solidarity visit to Internally Displaced Persons
(IDPs) Camps in Banki, a border community
with Cameron Republic and other resettlement
areas in Maiduguri , the state capital.
The visit of 2Face was facilitated by United
Nations High Commission for Refugees
(UNHCR ) Representative in Nigeria , Mr .
Antonio Canhandula and Regional
Representative in Dakar , Mr . Savor
Yohandamkoul , purposely aimed at creating
synergy between the agency and the Musician
by using his talents to release a new Album
next week to position the traumatized minds
of IDPs feel much hope in live , persuade
individuals and organizations contribute in the
area of reconstruction and resettlement
processes in the hitherto liberated
communities.
Briefing Newsmen at the end of his visits
which took place at the UNHCR Guest House ,
near Alamin Daggash Mosque in Maiduguri ,
2Face lamented on what he described
as “ Saddened and pathetic Condition of IDPs
in Camps ” , urging government, security
agencies , Media Practitioners and other
Humanitarian agencies to scale up a
coordinated efforts in addressing the plights of
IDPs and other victims of violence, as well as
nip terrorism in the bud.
” I am here in Maiduguri with support from
UNHCR to use my music in contributing to
alleviate the suffering of our IDPs and other
victims of insurgence.
“ I feel honoured to work with organization like
UNHCR , am just one person , when I went
round some of these camps , I was saddened , I
saw fear, sorrow and trauma , I feel
disappointed looking at the faces and eyes of
the IDPs. You will see hunger and object
poverty. Unless Government and politicians
shun injustice , corruption and remained focus
and committed to our collective development,
these same set of traumatized and displaced
people in camps may turn up to be more
dangerous in the society.
“ Although, I have seen hope of life among
some of these IDPs, all hands must be on
deck to the needful by rendering support no
matter how little it is . Presently I have a song,
titled ‘ Hold my Hands ’ , this song is on many
platforms , all people need to do is to
download it and use it ringing tone. It will only
cost you N 50 per month, but will surely
contribute in giving hope of life to our
traumatized victims of insurgency.
“ In my little way , I have come and seen the
live in camps and next week, when I go back
to Abuja, we are going to do a concert as my
proceed donation in alleviating the suffering of
the IDPs” . 2Face stated .
He however commended working Journalists
and urged them to continue their good efforts
and sacrifices in covering activities of
government, security agencies , Humanitarian
partners in the fight against insurgency in the
north east sub- region .
