Flood took over Suleja in Niger State following a heavy downpour that started in the early hours on Sunday.
About 10 residents are missing and feared dead as residents told a source that some who had attempted to leave their submerged homes for safety were swept away by the flood.
The Chairman of Suleja Local Government Area, Abdullahi Maje, confirmed the incident.
