Odunlade Adekola is now one of the biggest fishes in the Nollywood river

Odunlade Adekola,
If a seer had told actor Odunlade Adekola about a
decade ago that he would be one of the biggest
fishes in the Nollywood river in ten years, he
probably would have laughed like the unbelieving
biblical Sarah!
Or not!
Considering the fact that the actor has always had
faith bigger than a mustard seed.
Odunlade today has gone from the ‘Sunday
Dagboru’, ‘Monday Omo Adugbo’ to ‘The
Vendor’!

The movie producer has produced over ten
movies since his breakthrough in the industry but
this is the first time Odunlade is producing a
Cinema movie, a break from his usual!
The movie, ‘ The Vendor’ from the short scenes
seen on his page is a comedy with English,
Pidgin and Yoruba well infused to make it a
standard cinema movie.
For the first time Odun is working with actress
Adunni Ade and some other top stars in the
business of acting.
We already foresee another box office smasher!
Kudos to Odunlade who has been able to leave
his comfort zone and try his hands on something
extra! We can’t wait to see ‘ The Vendor’ !

Nollywood Actors, Odunlade Adekola And Mr Latin Narrowly Escape As Armed Robbers Attack Them Along Sagamu Road

Last night, Nollywood actors, Bolaji Amusan
popularly called Mr Latin, and Odunlade Adekola
were attacked by armed robbers as they were
returning from a Glo music show in Ijebu-Ode.
According to reports, their cars ran into the
armed robbers who had laid siege along Ilishan-
Sagamu road.
Mr Latin narrated the ordeal to PREMIUM TIMES
this morning saying, “we left Ijebu-Ode after the
show and heading to Abeokuta, when at about
7.30 p.m. we ran into the armed robbers
already stationed themselves on the road,” he
said.
He explained that Odunlade was driving ahead
of his car when he sighted the road block by the
bandits. Odunlade attempted to make a detour,
but the bandits rained bullets on the tyres
forcing the car to a halt, he explained.
Mr Latin, who drove in his Toyota Camry behind
Odunlade’s Toyota Avensis, said he and his
colleague, alongside some of their aides, had to
abandon their vehicles and run into the bush.
He said they were in the bush for almost two
hours, while the bandits ransacked their
vehicles, carting away valuables including
money and mobile phones. “We ran as the
robbers pursued us with guns. We were in the
bush for about two hours, before we later
regained freedom after the robbers left the
scene,” Mr Latin stated.
Thank God they escaped!
