PSG refuses La Liga blockage, pays Barcelona £222m to secure Neymar's transfer
Neymar is about to break Paul Pogba's world
record £100million Man U transfer move, as he
is soon to be the world’s best-paid and most
expensive footballer with a whopping £222m
transfer to PSG.
Representatives of Neymar and PSG arrived at
the La Liga offices in Madrid on Thursday,
planning to deposit the fee to activate the
release clause but La Liga officials blocked them
from depositing the money.
According to Guardian, La Liga refused the
payment because they had concerns over the
origin of the money, insisting only Spanish
clubs can have the guaranteed rights to buy out
a contract - despite accepting deposits from
foreign clubs in the past.
Since it has been reported that neither Barca
nor La Liga can block the deal and that the
Spanish organisation have no legal grounds to
reject the money, Neymar and PSG
representatives moved to Barcelona and paid
the club themselves
Barcelona announced today that they have
received a payment of 222 million euros from
Neymar's legal representatives "with regards to
the unilateral termination of the contract that
united both parties".
"On Thursday afternoon Neymar Jr's legal
representatives visited in person the club's
offices and made the payment of 222million
euros in the player's name with regards to the
unilateral termination of the contract that united
both parties. "As such, the club will pass on to
UEFA the details of the above operation so that
they can determine the disciplinary
responsibilities that may arise from this case."
According to reports, La Liga has no power to
block Neymar's move to PSG. Both Barca and
the league claim they will appeal to UEFA over
the transfer but it seems La Liga cannot scupper
the move. The best the league can do is hold up
the deal while lawyers scour over the
paperwork, looking for errors.
Neymar, 25, has scored more than 100 goals in
four years and has a deal that runs until 2021...
Let's see how this plays!
Luis Suarez opens up on Neymar’s departure to PSG
Luis Suarez has joined Lionel Messi in bidding Neymar farwell, as the Brazil international closes in on a world-record move to Paris Saint-Germain this summer.
Although La Liga has refused to accept a payment of €222million that meets Neymar’s release clause, the 25-year-old is expected to complete the move.
Suarez, who formed the fearsome MSN front three alongside Neymar and Messi, has posted his own heartfelt farewell message on Instagram.
“My friend I wish you the best in everything that comes!!!” he wrote.
“Also thank you for your support, for everything that I learned with you and for the unique moments that we spent together!!!!
“Keep like this and never change love you little bro.”
Our October 1st quit notice stands- Arewa Youths Consultative Forum tells Igbos in the region
The Arewa Youths Consultative Forum says the
October 1st ultimatum given to Igbos residing in
the region still stands. Recall that the group had
a meeting in Kaduna state in June where they
gave the ultimatum.
Speaking to journalists in Kano state today, the
chairman of the forum, Shettima Yerima, said
the quit notice still stands for Igbos who are
adamant in leaving Nigeria to form another
country. Yerima added that the order exempts
Igbos who still believe in the existence of
Nigeria.
“We stand by our notice to Igbo but those who
are interested in Nigeria can stay. But for those
who are not interested, you can go. Our mission
is for peace; the unity of Nigeria is being
threatened by the current agitation from the Igbo
and we want to make sure that those who are
interested in Nigeria stay but those who are not
interested should go. The purpose of town hall
meeting in Kano is to review the early stand
took and we are collecting views of people here
from the northwest. We will also move to north-
central and north-east on whether to maintain
our position or reconsider it. We don’t have the
right to force the people to go. So, we are using
peaceful means because don’t have police and
army.” he said
Our relationship with Russia is at an all-time and very dangerous low - Donald Trump
Yesterday, President Trump was forced by US
congress to sign a bill to sanction Russia and
he's not happy about it.
Today, Trump took to twitter to lament about the

Russia saying its 'at an all-time and very
dangerous low' and he blames congress for it.
US orders all American citizens to leave North Korea by September 1
The US has ordered that all US passport holders
should leave North Korea by September 1.
Also, Americans who want to travel to North
Korea will have to obtain special validation from
now on. US authorities said that the validation
will only be granted in "limited circumstances".
Ever since Donald Trump became president, US
relations with North Korea have deteriorated and
tensions between both countries have been
growing, with the US recently testing its ballistic
missile intercept system in Alaska. North
Korea's president also threatened that he could
strike the entire continental U.S. after test-firing
the regime’s second intercontinental ballistic
missile within a month. Kim Jong-un warned
the US it would not be safe from destruction if it
tries to attack.
Senator Lindsey Graham said Donald Trump has
told him there will be a war with North Korea if
the secretive nation does not end its missile
programme.
"He has told me that. I believe him," Senator
Lindsey Graham told TODAY.
Only those looking for appointment want restructuring: An open letter to VP Osinbajo from Femi Fani-Kayode
Only those looking for appointment
want restructuring: An open letter to
VP Osinbajo from Femi Fani-Kayode
Read his peace below...
"Those that are calling for restructuring are
looking for appointment. When they say they
want restructuring what they mean is that they
want an appointment....... some people told us
Nigeria is a "geographical expression" although
it was not even original to them"- Acting
President Yemi Osinbajo.
Your Excellency,
I trust that you are well despite the fact that
your principal is still at large.
Permit me to take this opportunity to respond to
your gratutious insult and your irresponsible and
irreverant assertion about those of us that have
been at the forefront of the fight for restructuring
our nation for many years.
However before doing so I shall make a few
observations and assertions of my own.
You have constantly condemned and warned
against what you call "hate speech" in our
nation yet you indulge in it more than anyone
else.
I say this because you constantly call others,
particularly members of the opposition, "looters"
and you take pleasure on demonising them
before the world even before a court of law has
pronounced them guilty of any wrongdoing.
You also call them "plunderers", "liars",
"clueless" and "destroyers". If this is not hate
speech then I really don't know what is!
You have stigmatised and criminalised every
single leading member of the opposition PDP,
including our leader President Goodluck Ebele
Jonathan, over the last three years and you have
sought to paint us as reprobates and evil souls
that are not fit to hold public office and that
have destroyed the very foundation of our
country.
One of your most prominent and vocal
sympathisers, supporters and leaders even
called President Jonathan's wife, our former
First Lady, Mrs. Patience Jonathan, an ugly and
illiterate hippopotamus! Are these sentiments
not motivated by pure hate?
Yet you know very well that all that you and
your associates have said about the PDP and
our leaders is not only a lie from the pit of hell
but also a carefully crafted, purposely contrived
and premeditated false narrative.
Worse still you are fully aware of the fact that
over sixty percent of your party elders and APC
governors, ministers, legislators and public
office holders were, up until three or four years
ago, all elders, leaders and members of the
PDP, including President Olusegun Obasanjo
and Vice President Atiku Abubakar.
If the PDP was so bad why did you give those
that came from there such prominent positions
and key roles to play at both the state and
federal level before, during and after the
presidential election of 2015?
You claim that those that are calling for
restructuring are only doing so in order to get
an appointment. You measure others by your
own squalid standards and you do nothing but
take shameless dictation from a tiny cabal of
faceless shape-shifting reptilians, corpsocrats,
bloodsucking demons and vampires.
You cover up their atrocities and you endorse
their wicked ways and their evil persecution.
You have forgotten who you are and where you
are coming from.
From the outset and as far back as the early
1940's the Yoruba particularly, and indeed the
people of the south generally, have wanted and
fought for nothing but a restructured Nigeria
where power is devolved from the center and
now you insult those that support it and pooh
pooh the whole idea.
As a Christian you have joined forces with those
that hate your faith and that have sought to
denigrate it and wipe it off the face of the earth.
Those that are behind this hideous and satanic
agenda are not even real or true Muslims but
rather they are Islamic fundamentalists and
believers in radical and political islam.
They call their fellow Muslims who do not share
their radical and bigoted views "infidels" simply
because they believe that religion is a personal
issue which must never be brought into or used
in partisan politics and simply because they are
prepared to support a non-Muslim for the
Presidency or indeed any other political office.
Your new found friends and those you front for
hate Christians and they hate real Muslims. Yet
you do not care about this deviant disposition
as long as you are given the opportunity by
them to remain in office even though they treat
you like filth and they regard you as nothing
more than a mere quisling, puppet and puffed
up, highly celebrated "national co-ordinator".
What a sorry impasse you have brought us to.
We had hoped that you would be a man and
stand up like one whilst your "father" was away
trying to recover from his ill-health and many
afflictions in London but this was not to be.
Nigeria is crumbling right under your feet and
falling apart because you have refused to rise up
to the occasion, muster the required strength
and moral authority to set things right and build
bridges of fraternity and friendship and ensure
that there is justice and fairness to all in the
land.
Under you no Fulani herdsmen have been
arrested. Under you Boko Haram has gone from
bad to worse. Under you the Arewa Youth
threatened a whole ethnic race with eviction and
genocide yet none of them were arrested.
Under you the Yoruba youth have said they do
not want restructuring anymore but what they
want is secession. Under you IPOB brought the
whole of the south east to a stand-still and
today they reign supreme in that region and
zone.
Under you stage-managed pictures of our ailing
President were put out with visiting governors
which were proof of life but which did not
ondicate whether he was mentally or physically
well enoufh to come home and rule our nation.
90 days down the line and we still don't know
what is wrong with him and how much longer
he will be away.
Not only has the President gone missing but
even the presidential jet that took him to the UK
and that was parked at Stan stead
Airport waiting for him for the last three months
has now reportedly also gone missing.
Ours has become an international shame and
we are now the laughing stock of the world
because you find it very hard to tell us the truth.
Even CNN and the Washington Post, your good
friends that helped to bring you to power, are
now mocking you.
Yet you do not care and you continue to act as
if all is well. Are you not provoking the Living
God? Did the respected General Overseer of
your Church, the Redeemed Church of God,
Pastor Enoch Adegboye (a profoundly good man
who is undoubtedly one of God's end time
generals) not teach you that a heavy price will
be paid by those who join forces with the
Amalekites to hurt, wound, crush and destroy
the children of light and the sons and daughters
of promise?
What is your fear and what is the source of your
cowardice. Can light overcome darkness? Did
David not survive the wilderness? Did he not
survive the brutal onslaught of Saul, the
rebellion of his own son Absalom and the
vicious attacks of the Philistines?
Did he not defeat and destroy Goliath and
redeem the honor of the children of Israel and
the Living God? Is that God dead to you now?
Whose report do you believe? Do you believe
the report of the Lord or the report of man?
He who created the eyes and the ears, can He
no longer see and hear? Is the arm of the Lord
too short to defend and deliver?
Is there anything too big or too difficult for our
GOD? Is He that created the universe and who
chose to make the earth His footstool so weak
that He cannot honor His word and deliver His
people?
The truth is that if you fail to do the right thing
and you turn your back on Him and His
purpose, He will spew you out and find another
that will effect His purpose and will in our
country. We are not in by our hands but in His.
Mordecai told Esther this over three thousand
years ago and I am telling you the same thing
today.
If you need to be reminded about the veracity
and efficacy of the Holy scriptures when it
comes to the truisms and strictures of
leadership and governance and you are reluctant
to hear them from your spiritual father because
you are ashamed of the fact that you have gone
astray then please do the following.
Ask for a secret audience with either Bishop
David Oyedepo, Bishop Mike Okonkwo, Prophet
T.B. Joshua, Dr. Daniel Olukoya, Apostle
Suleman, Bishop Danson, Pastor Paul
Adefarasin, Bishop B.O. Ezekiel or any of the
other great men of God in our nation who will
undoubtedly have the courage and the
conviction to tell you what the Lord is saying
and the bitter truth.
You need help and you need it fast. The
politicians cannot help you now and neither can
your new-found friends on the corridors of
power or your beleaguered, divided and dying
party the APC. Only the Living God can help
you.
It is so bad that you did and said nothing when
your fellow Redeemed Pastor (who happened to
be a woman) was slaughtered right under your
nose in Abuja recently. You did not even attend
her burial.
Instead of doing the right thing and soothing
frayed nerves you are encouraging division in
our nation and you are consolidating and
perpetuating a ruthless and heartless quasi-
apartheid system of government which has no
basis in decent, rationality, justice or fairness.
It is a cruel and barbaric system which sees a
few as the master race and the rest as slaves.
Given all this how can you possibly live with
yourself and how can you hold your head up
high?
You join common slaves and ride on horseback
whilst you condemn and confine the princes of
the realm and the sons and daughters of the
Most High God to walk around barefooted.
This is not only sacrilege but it is indeed a
great evil under the sun. May god forgive you
and may He deliver you before it is too late.
All those that said that we should have faith in
the APC and the Acting President should
carefully meditate on and consider his words
and categorisation of those who believe in
restructuring and self-determination.
He says that they are just looking for an
appointment. Permit me to ask the following
questions.
Is it the leaders of the south, Afenifere,
Ohaeneze and the Niger Delta that are looking
for appointments? Or is it the leaders of the
Middle Belt?
Is it Baba Fasoranti, Baba Ayo Adebanjo, General
Alani Akinrinade, Chief Amos Akingba, Bishop
Gbonigi, Professor Bolaji Akinyemi or Chief Olu
Falae?
Is it Chief John Nwodo, Governor Victor Ezeife or
Chief Arthur Nwankwo? Is it Chief E.K. Clark,
Chief Solomon Asemota SAN or Chief Albert
Horsefall?
Is it General TY Danjuma, General Dogonyaro or
General Zamani Lekwot? Is it Atiku Abibakar
who was the Vice President that you are today
18 years ago?
Is it the respected Baba Bisi Akande who has
been calling for us to go back to the 1963
regional structure and form of government? Is it
General Ibrahim Babangida who was Head of
State 32 years ago?
What appointment can you or Buhari possibly
offer any of them at their age and with their
wealth of knowledge and experience? Why
should you measure these distinguished and
respected people, most of whom are old enough
to he your father, by your own sordid
standards?
The other day you stood at a public function
and clapped heartily when our father and leader
President Olusegun Obasanjo said that the way
to stop the Biafran agitation was to offer the
Igbo people a slice of cake?
Does that make sense to you? Is this whole
thing about cake and appointments as far as
people like you are concerened?
Why do you seen to take pleasure in denigrating
those that do not believe in a nation that has all
the powers of government concentrated at the
center and that has dashed the hopes and
dreams of millions?
Nigeria was meant to be a federation and not a
unitary state with a federal facade! Have you
forgotten that today simply because you are
Vice President to Buhari?
Does Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, the man that brought
you into politics and that single-handedly made
you Vice President, agree with you on this?
Does he also believe that everyone that
believes in restructuring is just looking for an
appointment?
If so that would be very curious because he
once believed in it and we used to discuss it
extensively when we were closer. I am sure that
at some point he would have lectured you on its
merits and rudiments.
Honestly you have lost it completely. You have
betrayed your people and jettisoned their cause.
You have ignored their call for justice and
equity and you have turned a deaf ear to their
cry for deliverance.
Some will call you a shameless coward but I will
not go that far out of respect for your office. I
am however constrained to say that I have lost
the great respect that I once had for you.
Like the biblical Demas you have turned your
back on your primary calling and you have gone
the other way.
You have been seduced and overwhelmed by a
Demastic anointing. You have fallen in love
with the awesome power of governance at the
Villa and all worldly things.
In short you are a self-serving modern-day
Afonja who will eventually be consumed by
those who he has joined forces with to destroy
his own people and the children of the Living
God. Thus says the Lord.
My regards to your family Your Excellency and
kindly convey my warmest greetings and special
felicitations to your brother "Jebi" who I am
very fond of and was very friendly with whilst at
London University in the early 1980's. Shalom.
Your ignorance is Laughable- Actress Georgina Onuoha, attacks US president, Donald Trump, in new IG post
Actress Georgina Onuoha, took a swipe at US
president, Donald Trump, via her IG page this
morning. The mum of two who is also a US
citizen berated Trump for his policies on
immigrants. According to Georgina, Trump,
whose parents are originally from Germany/
Scotland, is bringing out policies that adversely
affect immigrants residing in the US. Posting the
photos above, she wrote
"Isn't it so funny, insensitive and insulting that a
man whose specialty is to go marry "bimbos"
from East Europe that claim to be models, that
can't speak English nor right it insulting
immigrants. None of his three wives had any
skill or formal education, Melania claimed to
have graduated from college and when journalist
swamped her so called college, those claims
were dropped and removed from her page and
Wikipedia page. Yet America gave them a
chance, they assimilated and thrived like every
other immigrant that came to this country. To
hear this man utter some of his ill conceive
ideas about legal migration, makes me cringe.
His own parents were from Germany/Scotland
yet his disdain for immigrants is sickening. This
is a cheap billionaire that will rather hire foreign
workers than pay Americans full wages.. How
many White Americans will you see on the fields
picking berries? None, because they will rather
wait tables and get tips and better still meet rich
men. How many white Americans will you see in
any hotel cleaning rooms? None.. they will
rather be yatties? How many white Americans
will you see working as CNA's in skilled nursing
facilities? None.. they will rather go work in
night clubs ? Yet this man thinks all immigrants
are lazy!! And are a burden on the system? His
ignorance is Laughable. Indians, Nigerian and
Asians make up the highest number of doctors
and nurses in this country working effectively
and efficiently. It is Laughable to think that
immigrants are taking jobs from white
Americans,?really? You can't just get out of high
school, refuse to go to college , marry at 17 and
then expect to be a doctor or rich person. With
all said, I have worked with white Americans
who take pride in their professional skills,
pursue white collar jobs and are tolerant to
immigrants. These migrants come to America,
go to school, learn English, work hard and move
up the ladder to the middle class. It is insulting
to listen to this man's stupidity at times. Why
this man is bent of politics of identity still beats
my imagination meanwhile he is the cheapest
importer of foreign wives that he will treat as
trophies and discharge whenever he pleases".

Ukraine heavyweight boxer, Wladimir Klitschko retires from boxing, ends Anthony Joshua’s rematch hopes
Ukrainian boxing legend, Wladimir Klitschko has
announced his shocking retirement after a 21-
year career in the boxing ring after winning 64
of his 69 fights.
The 41-year-old made the announcement this
morning in a video where he confirmed his
decision.
According to him, "I deliberately took a few
weeks to make my decision, to make sure I had
enough distance from the fight at Wembley
Stadium,” Klitschko said in a statement released
on his website. “As an amateur and a
professional boxer, I have achieved everything I
dreamed of, and now I want to start my second
career after sports.
Klitschko who was defeated by Anthony Joshua
in a heavyweight blockbuster bout back in April
and the British-Nigerian boxer was hoping for
another bout in Las Vegas on November 11.
The Ukrainian retires as one of the sport's true
greats, having held the WBA, IBF, WBO and IBO
heavyweight titles, as well as the lineal crown,
and remains the second-longest serving
heavyweight champion of all time behind Joe
Louis with 18 consecutive defences over a nine-
year span.

I cannot cook for a man if I am the breadwinner of the home- actress Ronke Oshodi Oke says
In a recent interview with Broadway TV,
actress Ronke Oshodi Oke spoke on the reason
why most celebrity marriages are crashing.
According to her, a marriage cannot work when
the woman is the one providing the finance that
runs the home. She argued that a
marriage where the woman is the one paying
the utility bills, providing the school fees of the
children, food and other important things cannot
work.
"That is what is trending now and do you know
why it is like that? It is because we are exposed.
Everyone wants to work. Everyone wants to earn
money. Thirty or forty years ago, it was our
fathers that were earning money. Ladies don't
really use to go to universities. They were like if
I go to a university, no one would marry me
again. My father used to say that he can never
marry a graduate. He used to tell me he cannot
marry a nurse. But now, I would bring 50, the
man would bring 50 or I would bring 70 the
man would bring 30 or he would bring 70, I
would bring 30 because we have to work hand
in hand. So how do you think we can sustain
the marriage. It is not going to work. It is not
because we don't want to really be in our
husband's house or that we are not submissive
enough, it is not just going to work. I am going
to pay the NEPA bill, I would provide foodstuff if
you don't have, I would pay the school fees if
you don't have, I would do some certain things
if you don't have. And then you would now
come and expect me to cook for you or come
and meet food when you come back home, it is
not going to work. It is not just going to work.
That is just it. But if you are a man and you are
doing everything, absolutely everything, that is
when you can have total control of your
wife"she said
Watch your comments on Biafra- Nnamdi Kanu tells acting president Yemi Osinbajo
The leader of the Independent People of Biafra
IPOB, Nnamdi Kanu, has advised acting
president, Yemi Osinbajo, to be mindful of the
comments he makes regarding the struggle for
the actualization of Biafra.
In a statement released by his lawyer, Ifeanyi
Ejiofor yesterday, Kanu said a comment
Osinbajo made when he met with some Igbo
traditional leaders in June, was not only
provocative but also unacceptable. Kanu
claimed Osinbajo told the Igbo leaders that
the agitation for Biafra is unconstitutional as it
offends section 2 of the 1999 constitution, 2011
[as amended] and that those behind it arrested
and imprisoned.
‘This declaration is respectfully considered as
not only provocative and unacceptable but a
clear case of undue interference with judicial
process, which have the capacity of distorting
the mindset of the judicial officer seized of our
client’s case. It is important to remind the
Acting President that our client’s present
political trial originated from his legitimate
exercise of his constitutionally guaranteed rights
to self-determination as clearly provided for
under extant laws, and International
Instruments/Conventions. It is therefore
reasonably expected that any of such extra
judicial remarks, should not emanate from the
revered office of the Acting President,’ the
statement read
According to Kanu. Osinbajo made the comment
in reaction to the quit notice issued by
members of the Coalition of Arewa Youths
group. The IPOB leader argued that the quit that
was issued by the Northern youth groups
should not be mistaken for the struggle for the
actualization of Biafra which is well recognized
by the Nigerian constitution as self-
determination. He wondered why members of
the Nothern youth group have not been arrested
and charged with treason just the way himself
and members of his group have been charged
to court.
"It is on this note that we most respectfully call
on the Acting President to be more circumspect
in his further remarks as it relates to a
substantive charge before the court. There is
need for total restraint, from comments,
pronouncements, and declarations that have the
effect of distorting the pendulum, one way or the
other, particularly on this phantom criminal
charge" the statement warned
Kanu called on the Federal government to drop
all the charges against him and other members
of his group namely Chidiebere Onwudiwe,
Benjamin Madubugwu, David Nwawuisi and
Bright Chimezie.

President Trump launches "real news" video series on Facebook
President Trump has launched a "real news "
video series on his Facebook page as part of
his effort to dismiss the news provided by the
mainstream media.
The inaugural episode, published on Sunday,
features Trump's daughter-in-law Lara boasting
about the president's accomplishments in front
of a background of Trump campaign logos.
"I bet you haven't heard about all the
accomplishments the president had this week
because there's so much fake news out there.
Watch here for REAL news!" says Lara Trump,
who is married to Eric Trump.
According to CNN, 'presidents and lawmakers
have used websites and social media platforms
for years to promote their achievements, but the
"real news" series goes further, seeking to
discredit the mainstream media and advertising
what purports to be a reliable alternative'.

Waje reacts to her controversial IG post about being ready to meet God, says she was misunderstood
Singer, Waje has reacted to her controversial IG
post about being ready to meet God
Speaking to a source, Waje said she was
misunderstood. She explained that she was just
talking about realizing what is important and
what is not because at the end of the day
everyone is going to die and then we will realize
that some of the things we place importance on
don't even matter. She said;
"People misunderstood that, even when my
mom says she can't wait for the coming Christ,
I do tell her, Mummy hold it, I have not given
birth to my second child, I have not hammer, I
have not done that or done this, I want to see
my grandchildren and all. But then when you go
on blogs, I read stuff on social media. Actually, I
shared that after watching a movie about a girl,
she was sick, I think it was something
cancerous. She fell down from a tree and that
was how she got her healing. That made me
realize that some of these things we work hard
to get are not even important because at the end
of the day we will still die. So, for me, I'm in a
phase where I'm putting more value on things
that matter. Trust me, I want to drive a beautiful
car, live in the South of France, I want to be able
to flex with my friends but I'm also
understanding that those things don't have any
value. It's not a legacy that I'm going to leave at
end of the day. So what is important is how I
live and how many people's lives I touch
through my journey.
That was why I said I wouldn't be putting too
much attention on things that don't matter and
that was where that came from. When I saw
people thought I said I was going to die, in fact,
some one even reached out to me. I was like,
baby. I ain't going nowhere. I'm going to be a
pain in your butt till maybe when I'm like 90."
